Block Bloom is a relaxing but addictive block puzzle game you can play free in your browser — no download, no sign-up. Drag colourful blocks onto the 8×8 grid, clear full rows and columns, chain combos for huge scores and make flowers bloom as you go. It plays perfectly on phones, tablets, Chromebooks and PC.
How to play
- Drag a block from the tray below the board onto any empty space on the grid.
- Fill a full row or column to clear it. Clear several at once for big bonus points.
- Keep your combo alive — every placement that clears a line raises the multiplier, and it survives two moves without a clear.
- Bloom the flowers 🌸 — blocks with a bud bloom when their line is cleared, giving +50 points and petals.
- The game ends when none of your three blocks fit. You get one revive per game.

Scoring
- Each block placed: 1 point per square.
- 1 line: 80 · 2 lines: 240 · 3 lines: 480 · 4 lines: 800.
- Combo multiplier: +50% per combo step (x2 combo = 1.5×, x3 = 2×, …).
- Each flower bloomed: +50. Clearing the whole board: +1,000.
Block puzzle tips & strategy
1. Keep the centre open
Build along the edges and corners first. An open centre leaves room for the big 3×3 squares and long 5-block lines that end most games.
2. Always plan for all three blocks
Before you place the first block, check that the other two still fit afterwards. Most game overs happen with one block left in the tray.
3. Set up double clears
A row and a column that are both one block from complete can be finished by a single corner piece — that is 240+ points instead of 80.
4. Protect your combo
Your combo survives two placements without a clear. Use those “free” moves to set up the next line instead of breaking the chain.
5. Use flowers wisely
Buds make the lines they sit in worth more. Prioritise clearing rows and columns that contain a bud.
